The Cricket Board of India (BCCI) on Monday announced the squad for the Under-19 World Cup to be held in South Africa. The mega event, which starts from January 17, will be headed by Priyam Garg (Uttar Pradesh). The BCCI has announced a 15-member team. Japan, New Zealand and Sri Lanka cricket teams will face off against India in Group-A. The World Cup-2020 final will be held on February 9 at Potchefstroom. India has already won the World Cup four times in the Under-19 category. Team India's current Under-19 team, led by the current captain of the team, Virat Kohli, won the World Cup for India.

Priyam Garg (captain), Dhruv Jarel (vice-captain / wicket-keeper), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Divyank Saxena, Shashwat Rawat, Divyang Joshi, Shubhang Hegde, Ravi Bishnoi, Akash Singh Singh, Sushant Mishra and Vidyadhar Patil.
